The Dagonfly bridge

A new bridge for pedestrian and bicyclists has been built in the Drielanden district of Harderwijk.

The bridge is fully constructed of fiber reinforced polymers (FRP). The design is inspired by the wings of a dragonfly.

The design maximizes the free form opportunities offered by the durable FRP; narrow where possible and wide where necessary.

The result is an elegant bridge that is integrated perfectly into the new Sprengpark landscape.
